Josh, we met the other night and I was absolutely gobsmacked. What an inspirational young man!! I was so proud of all you have achieved, and I’d only known you for a few hours. I would love to pass on my love and thanks to your mother as I believe that without her it would have been very easy for you to have been swallowed up by your injuries. We need to be positive in whatever life throws at us – it really is what we make of it. Josh you rock, kiddo, and what an inspiration you are to others who are told the same devastating news that you were! I realise that not everyone will be as lucky as you were that all the hard work, tears and pain are finally paying off, but it trully is worth the effort (just in case). Phil has always been of the belief that if he was given the news that he would be dependent on others for the rest of his life and never walk again that he wanted one of us to pull the pin. After having met you he is now questioning his philosophy. So thank you from the bottom of our hearts. May you have a long and healthy life and continue making others’ lives a little more special for having been even a small part of it.
