Today while down at Fitlife with Josh, Amelia managed to get some touching footage of Josh.
“It is vary rare to see any footage of Josh struggling, because like all of us you never want to see yourself struggle. But instead of putting this footage aside I decided to share it with you all.” ~Amelia
What Josh can due with a spinal cord injury has been labelled a miracle, and no one appreciates that fact more than he does, but what doesn’t get talked about is how hard he works every day to keep this miracle.
What most people see when they meet Josh is a man with a spinal cord injury that shouldn’t be able to walk but does. This video shows the incredible work, frustration, and perseverance that Josh contends with on a daily basis.
When you have a spinal cord injury, even the simplest of tasks takes everything you have in you to do. You have good days, great days, okay days, and very hard days. You fall down, you want to give up, but if you do it all goes away so you get back up and push through.
Josh doesn’t show this side to people very often, when you meet Josh he is full of smiles, encouragement, laughs, and motivation. Josh wants to help people, those with injuries or just every day life struggles, and so he keeps his personal challenges to himself. The physical fortitude it takes to move his arms and legs is incredible, but the internal strength that Josh has to keep pushing himself through the ups and downs and setbacks, through the physical and emotional pain is awe inspiring.
Thank you Josh for letting us share this.
