Josh & Amelia arrived safely in the USA this morning, picked up the rental car and arranged “cell phone” etc and travelled down to the rented “family” home in Oceanside California just north of Carlsbad.
They were terribly disappointed with the condition of the home, Sharyn & Rhiannon, Irwin & Armin feel the same way.
It’s always difficult dealing over the Internet, you take people at face value, especially with all the correspondence between
the families and the owner before agreeing to the rental… Hopefully the owner will come to the party and allow them to relocate to more suitable premises.
You’d have to laugh they hadn’t cleaned the BBQ , there was a left over turkey leg still “hiding” on the hotplate YUK… I’ll keep you updated of future happenings…
